This Privacy Policy describes how European Yachting Network (“we,” “our,” or “us”), registered in the Netherlands (KvK no. 92578969, VAT no. [NL004965046B37]), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data when you use the My Crew mobile and web application (the “App”). This Policy also fulfills the requirements of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store and complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch Implementatiewet AVG.

2. Scope and Applicability
This Policy applies to all personal data processed in connection with the EYN My Crew App, including data collected through the App Store and Play Store listings, and in-app functionalities. It covers data of all users—both consumers and businesses.

- Processing: any operation performed on Personal Data, such as collection, storage, use, disclosure, or deletion.
- User: any natural person who downloads, installs, or uses the App.

We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the App’s features:
- Account Data: email address, name, password hash.
- Logbook Data: speed, coordinates, date, time, course, sea state, wind data, atmospheric pressure, LOG entries.
- Device Data: device model, OS version, unique device ID, IP address, crash logs.
- Usage Data: feature usage metrics, timestamps, performance logs.

- Contract Performance: to provide the App’s core functionality (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Consent: for optional tracking or marketing communications (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

6. Purposes of Processing
- App Functionality: to create and maintain your digital Logbook and sync approved entries to your CV.
- Support & Communication: to respond to your inquiries, send updates, or service announcements.
- Analytics & Improvement: to analyze usage patterns and improve the App.
- Compliance: to satisfy audit, tax, or legal requirements.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies or SDKs solely for operational purposes (session management, error monitoring) and, with your consent, for analytics. You can disable cookies via your device settings, though this may limit certain functions.
8. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell or rent your Personal Data. We may share data with:
- Service Providers: hosting, analytics, crash reporting—subject to data-processing agreements.
- Legal Authorities: if required by law or to protect our rights.
- Affiliates: under shared privacy safeguards and compliance.
9. International Data Transfers
Data is stored and processed within the EU. If we transfer data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure adequate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

- 15. App Store & Google Play Disclosures
• The Subscriber acknowledges that Apple Inc. and Google LLC are third‑party beneficiaries of this Privacy Policy and may enforce any rights under it with respect to their processing of App-store-related data.
15.3 Platform-Specific Data Processing
• In the iOS App, payment and subscription processing is handled by Apple. Data collected for crash reporting or analytics via Apple’s SDKs (e.g., App Analytics) is subject to Apple’s privacy practices.
• In the Android App, payment and subscription processing is handled by Google; data collected via Google Play services or Firebase Crashlytics is subject to Google’s privacy practices.
